Modeling traffic congestion effects on air pollutants

The publication tackles the serious issue of air pollution in the Asia-Pacific area, emphasizing its growing severity and negative effects on premature death rates, livelihoods, and long-term development, particularly in fast expanding cities. It concentrates on Chiang Mai, where biomass burning and traffic pollution are key sources of air pollutants like as NO2, CO, and SO. The relationship between traffic congestion and ambient air pollution is investigated using a variety of methodologies, including quantitative modeling, correlational analysis, linear regression, and Copula analysis.
