Strengthening capacity of member states to respond to air pollution issues is one of the areas of action in the UN Environment Assembly resolutions on air quality (1/7, 3/8, and 6/10). This programme seeks to strengthen institutional capabilities and support the development of a more effective, evidence-based air quality management tool across the region. It is being organized by UNEP in partnership with the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), and with support from the Ministry of Environment of the Republic of Korea.
