The training is designed to provide air quality practitioners from AMS with a common foundation of knowledge and supporting guidance that enables them to better understand the air quality context and challenges in the region, and to implement robust approaches to gathering air quality data and using it to effectively engage policymakers, industries and relevant authorities.Following the successful conduct of the first training last October 2024 and the online coaching sessions, the participants presented their own air quality monitoring and data management plans. As part of the practical learning, a visit to the Data Center of the Environmental Management Bureau, Department of Environment and Natural Resources, Philippines was organised. Complementary to these national government efforts, Clean Air Asia together with the Climate Change and Environmental Sustainability Department of the City Government of Quezon City presented the city's clean air action plan and ongoing initiatives.
