This meeting was attended by representatives from three countries, namely Thailand, Lao PDR, and Myanmar. Participated in the exchange of information on the situation of forest fires and transboundary haze, including the certification of the Framework Document (TOR) and the Joint Working Group's action plan, as well as discussed the establishment of a technical working group to support the operation.
The meeting also discussed other important issues such as the creation of fire risk maps. The three countries' air quality monitoring and reporting system, sustainable agricultural sector management, and the development of public awareness campaigns to reduce transboundary pollution between Thailand, Lao PDR and Myanmar.
